How do I Start!
Making your own wreath is a wonderful way to decorate your home and, or give as a gift.
Grab yourself a Drink, make some space and get started. I am Samantha and I am not a wreath Maker, but I am a very crafty person and wanted to make my own wreath. That’s when I realized how fantastic would be to supply it in one box. This is how I made a Wreath.
1) Decide where you are going to hang the Wreath, if it is open to the elements it may deteriorate. Often Wreaths are indoor or outside in a sheltered area.
2) There are many ways of making a wreath and I wrap the Tinsel around the Metal frame. This forms the base for my design. The baubles are fixed using Cable ties and Glue from a Glue Gun.
3) A top tip I found out is if you Sand the area of the baubles the Glue stick much better.
4) You can add the lights by wrapping them around the Metal Frame.
5) The cord is to use to hang the wreath up and can be used to tie things to the wreath.
6) Sparkle stickers can be used to add that extra shine.
7) Now you have you have your base to add anything you love
What can I add?
Well, you can add anything you would like, from buttons, wool and keepsakes. Nature has a wonderful way of supplying free items you can use such as Seed Pods and Holly. Dried Orange Slices make a lovely addition, adding colour and a lovely smell.
I used personal items such as my children’s first shoes and old Vintage Christmas decorations. Children’s toys add fun and nostalgia and make a lovely decoration you will talk about forever. Let your imagination go Wild
Yours Samantha
